31 Nights of Thrills Part II
Every good horror movie deserves a sequel, right? Well, maybe not, but we at TMM certainly enjoyed 31 Nights of Thrills enough to continue the tradition for another year. Check out the horror flicks in this year’s series below!
The Fog (1980)

Crawl (2019)
1. In the Mouth of Madness (1994)- An insurance investigator searches for a missing best selling horror novelist, only to find that the books have an increasing sway on his fans’ lives.
2. Prince of Darkness (1987)- A research team studies a strange cylinder left in a deserted church and mysterious occurrences begin happening in the surrounding area.
3. The Fog (1980)- A mysterious fog rolls in over a small coastal town 100 years after a ship sank just off the shore.
October 2nd: Period Piece Horror and New Release “Crawl”
4. Lizzie (2018)- A retelling of the infamous Borden murders of 1892.
The Toxic Avenger (1984)
5. The Little Stranger (2018)- After a doctor is called to a crumbling home, strange things begin to happen.
6. Crawl (2019)- A young woman finds herself trapped in a crawlspace with alligators after she attempts to rescue her father during a category 5 hurricane.
October 3rd: Road Trip Horror
7. Joy Ride (2001)- A psychotic trucker harasses three young people after they play a cruel joke on him.
October 4th: Troma Terror
8. Class of Nuke ’Em High (1986)- The students at a high school near a nuclear power plant start behaving strangely after smoking irradiated marijuana.
Dog Soldiers (2002)
9. The Toxic Avenger (1984)- A 98 lbs nerdy janitor is turned into a monster-superhero after falling into a vat of toxic waste.
October 5th: Vengeance from Korea
10. Bedevilled (2010)- A woman in an isolated village whom is constantly subject to abuse seeks help from a friend from Seoul.
October 6th: Creepy Crawly Creatures
11. Splinter (2008)- After a convict and his girlfriend take a young couple hostage, a alien parasitic creature terrorizes them all.
12. Shivers (1975)- A strain of parasites infects a high-rise apartment complex and turns the residents into sex-crazed fiends.
The Witch (2015)
October 7th: Werewolves
13. Dog Soldiers (2002)- A group of military recruits runs into werewolves while training in Scotland.
14- The Wolfman (2010)- After his brother goes missing, Lawrence Talbot returns to his home in Blackmoor, England where the town lives in fright of what they suspect is a werewolf.
October 8th: A Wicked Woman

15. The Woman in Black (2012)- A young lawyer travels to an isolated village to settle the estate of a client, only to find a vengeful spirit is haunting the occupants of the village.
October 9th: The Best and Worst the Genre Has to Offer
16. The Witch (2015)- Puritans, banished from their village, are beset by a witch.
17. Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008)- After a wave of organ failures sweeps through the human populous, a genetics company begins manufacturing artificial organs. But if the recipients of those organs can’t pay, the company sends in a Repo Man to take their product back. A musical!
October 10th: A Mixed Bag
18. The Hole in the Ground (2019)- After he goes missing in the woods and returns, a young mother suspects that her son might be an imposter.
19. Scream (1996)- A ghost-faced killer preys on a small town.
Basket Case (1982)
October 11th: The Evil Dead
20. The Evil Dead (1981)- Five friends travel to a cabin in the woods for a groovy time, but after they discover a dark book and mysterious recordings left by the cabin’s previous owners, strange and horrific things begin to happen.
21. Evil Dead (2013)- Five friends go to a cabin in the woods where they find a book that unleashes demons.
October 12th: Scared Silly
22. Housebound (2014)- After being arrested and put on house arrest, Kylie must learn how to live with her mother Miriam and her stepfather Graeme in the house she grew up in, which, Miriam is convinced, is haunted.
October 13th: Imperfection
23. The Perfection (2018)- A musical prodigy seeks out the star pupil of her former school, and the encounter sends both musicians down a dark path.
October 14th: Basket Case Trilogy
24. Basket Case (1982)- A young man travels to New York with his deformed Siamese-twin brother in a basket with plans for vengeance on the doctors that separated them against their will.
25. Basket Case II (1990)- Following the events of Basket Case, Duane and his Siamese-twin brother, a mutant named Belial flee the hospital where they are taken and join up with a troupe of wayward freaks.
Don’t Look Now (1973)
26. Basket Case III (1991)- The continuing misadventures of Belial and Duane.
Child’s Play (1988)
October 15th: The Dismal Amityville Remake
27. The Amityville Horror (2005)- The Lutz family is haunted by evil spirits.
October 16th: Don’t Look!
28. Don’t Look Now (1973)- After suffering a family tragedy, a British couple living in Venice are confronted by a series of mysterious and perhaps paranormal events.
October 17th: Clive Barker’s World
29. Candyman (1992)- A skeptical grad student accidentally summons a murderous urban legend.
30. The Midnight Meat Train (2008)- A photographer becomes obsessed with a man whom he thinks is a serial killer who preys on late night commuters.
October 18th: Chucky’s Playtime
31. Child’s Play (1988)- A single mother gives her son the latest toy craze- a Good Guys doll- for his birthday, only to find out that her particular doll has been possessed by the soul of a serial killer.
32. Child’s Play II (1990)- Chucky (somehow) returns to once again try to claim Andy’s soul.
33. Child’s Play III (1991)- Chucky once again returns to trouble Andy Barclay, who is now a teenager living at military school.
The Ninth Gate (1999)
34. Bride of Chucky (1998)- Charles Lee Ray’s ex-girlfriend Tiffany resurrects the serial killing doll Chucky, and through a series of unfortunate events, becomes a doll herself. The two engage in a killing spree as they trek across the country towards Charles’ grave.
35. Seed of Chucky (2004)- Several years after Chucky and Tiffany were last killed, their child returns to resurrect them. The family then terrorizes a movie production based on their previous murder sprees.
36. Curse of Chucky (2013)- After her mother’s unusual death, a woman begins to suspect that the Good Guy doll that was sent to her by mistake might be alive and murderous.
37. Cult of Chucky (2017)- Chucky works his way into the insane asylum where Nica Pierce is being kept, and meanwhile, Andy Barclay tries to hunt down his old rival once and for all.
38. Child’s Play (2019)- A 2019 reboot of the 1988 slasher classic revolving around a killer doll named Chucky.

39. The Ninth Gate (1999)- A rare books dealer is drawn into a conspiracy with supernatural overtones after accepting a new job offer from a mysterious and wealthy patron.
October 20th: The King of Meh
40. The Dark Half (1993)- After a writer kills off his pseudonym the pseudonym manifests and terrorizes the writer and his family.
October 21st: The King’s Reign Continues

41. Thinner (1996)- A fat lawyer begins rapidly loosing weight after gypsies curse him.

46. A Nightmare on Elm Street II: Freddy’s Revenge (1985)- A teenage boy is haunted by Freddy Krueger in his dreams, and he believes that Freddy might be possessing him.
Jason X (2001)
47. A Nightmare on Elm Street III: Dream Warriors (1987)- Nancy Thompson helps a group of teens learn how to fight Freddy Krueger.
48. A Nightmare on Elm Street IV: The Dream Master (1988)- After the defeat of Freddy Krueger at the hands of the Dream Warriors, Freddy somehow returns to haunt the dreams of a girl named Alice, whom is a particularly strong dreamer.
49. A Nightmare on Elm Street V: The Dream Child (1989)- Alice, the powerful dream warrior, finds herself beset by the nightmares of her unborn infant child.
50. Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)- Ten years after the last “Nightmare”, Freddy has killed all but one of the remaining teens in Springwood and now must use the amnestic John Doe to lure more teens to him.
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948)
51. New Nightmare (1994)- As Heather Langenkamp prepares for her role in the latest installment in the “Nightmare on Elm Street” series, she finds hers and her child’s dreams are being afflicted by Freddy.
52. Freddy Vs Jason (2003)- Freddy Krueger tricks Jason Voorhees into killing a slew of teenagers for his own personal reasons, but when Jason finds out he’s been duped, he turns his machete towards the gloved-killer.
53. Friday the 13th (2009)- A group of stupid people are attacked by a redneck in a hockey mask.
54. Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993)- After being blown up, Jason’s soul possesses a morgue worker and he tries to find a member of the Voorhees family so that he can be reborn through magic.
55. Jason X (2001)- Jason Voorhees is frozen in carbonite for four hundred years until he’s brought back on a space ship.

60. The Omen II: Damien (1978)- The continuing misadventures of Damien the Antichrist.
61. The Omen III: The Final Conflict (1981)- The Antichrist plots his future moves while a cabal of monks try to assassinate him.
62. The Omen (2006)- A remake of the 1976 classic. An American diplomat begins to suspect his son might be the antichrist.
63. The Lighthouse (2019)- Two wickies on a post far out at sea begin to experience unusual phenomena.

66. The Exorcist III: Legion (1990)- A police lieutenant finds a series of murders are linked to a murders done by a famous serial killer more than fifteen years ago.
67. In the Tall Grass (2019)- Something mysterious and terrifying happens when entering the tall grass…
68. House of Wax (2005)- A group of teenagers are hunted by a psychopath after they stumble into an odd town…

October 31st: Halloween!
Halloween (1978)
70. Halloween (1978)- A psychotic mental patient who has been imprisoned for fifteen years after the brutal murder of his sister escapes confinement and returns to his hometown to kill again.
71. Halloween II (1981)- Immediately following the events of the first “Halloween.” Dr. Loomis and his colleague search for Michael Meyers, while Laurie Strode is rushed to the hospital.
72. Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)- A man investigates the latest Halloween craze, Silver Shamrock masks, thinking that there might be a kind of plot surrounding them.
73. Halloween IV: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)- Ten years after Michael Meyers stalked Laurie Strode, he wakes from a coma and returns home to Haddonfield to kill his niece.
74. Halloween V: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)- Michael Meyers returns to Haddonfield once again to try to kill his niece, Jamie.

77. Halloween: Resurrection (2002)- Michael Myers terrorizes a reality TV show that has set up in his old house.
